Liveable Cities Interactive Webinar Series #2 : Mobility For All
23 Oktober 2020
We'd like to inform you that IDN Liveable Cities will host the upcoming Liveable Cities Interactive Webinar Series #2
“Mobility for All”
Friday, October 23, 2020
15.00 Central European Time / 20.00 Western Indonesian Time
Conducted online via Zoom application
This event will be conducted in English (both oral and written)
Many cities are experiencing a decline in access to jobs and services due to a confluence of two global trends: rapid urbanization and motorization. Lack of access afflicts both low-income communities scattered throughout the city and low-to-medium-income people living in suburbs and peripheral settlements who use private cars and motorcycles on long, congested commutes. Departing from this issue, this webinar would like to discuss an essential question in planning, designing and managing the urban transportation and mobility sector, “What cities can do to change the trajectory of the urban transportation and mobility sector so that it provides the underserved communities with more equitable access to opportunities?”
Silvia Halim - PT. MRT Jakarta;
Neil Walmsley - ARUP Singapore.
Moderator: Florian Heinzelmann - SHAU.
Tiyok Prasetyoadi - PDW Architects;
Widoyoko - Indonesia Transportation Forum.
The webinar is FREE of charge, but for those who need an e-certificate, there is an administration handling fee of IDR 50.000,-. Donations are also welcome.
Further information will be explained by e-mail.
